“If we cannot see ourselves in others, whomever they may be, then their suffering becomes easily dismissed. If their suffering is dismissed, so is their human potential.”
Dominique Sinagra, Founder & CEO
Bringing people together through the power of storytelling; championing human potential through learning and enterprise and ensuring every person has the right to live a safe, happy and fulfilling life.
Every being has the right to live free from harm and to have agency in order to sustain their own future. Yet, the circumstances of birth impede many.
One never knows the full potential lurking in a shepherd boy in the mountains of Lesotho or a single mother in north Solihull trying to make ends meet. We no longer have luxury to ignore the potential of lives around the world. Our futures depends on it.
We work within the themes of a village: School, Theatre, Home, Garden, Market and Sacred Space. While all our Villages adopt these themes, they are not uniform. Instead, they respond to the unique qualities of a place and culture and are at different stages of growth.
For our villages to be sustainable, not only financially but also ecologically, we support individuals and their communities with resources and mentorship to grow through enterprise.
Our vision to work globally, beyond boundaries and borders, championing potential, wherever it may be. Our current projects are in Lesotho, Southern Africa and north Solihull, England. Yet, we are constantly exploring, testing and expanding.
"The relationship with The Village members taught me to be more patient and to fight the challenges, instead of giving up. I began thinking about my future, instead of being depressed because of it."
A place of education; academic, vocational or social.
A place where people can tend the land in return for nourishment and economic sustainability.
A space for the expression and interaction with the arts and performance. A space of storytelling.
A place of enterprise and entrepreneurship, where crafts, goods and services can be sold or traded in order to support the general economic wellbeing of individuals and the community.
A place of spiritual observation and learning. This might be a church, a mosque, a meditation room, or a place for mental or physical health healing.
A place of safety and welcome, where a person's basic needs are met.

We dream big; as the greatest reward is the feeling we get from helping others
We ask ourselves: what is the bravest choice we could make?
