Founder & CEO
Dominique spent five years travelling and interviewing people as part of a humanitarian documentary project. During these travels she spoke to former child soldiers in Uganda, communities in Kenya, refugees in Palestine and along the Jordanian border, "untouchables" in India, and veterans in Oklahoma. She also volunteered for a year at Mants'ase Children's Home in Lesotho. These travels and experiences were her inspiration in establishing The Village Charity.
Daisy is the Project Manager for the Solihull Village and Acts of Kindness communities. Her background is in supporting vulnerable communities both in the UK and internationally. She has worked with non-English speaking women across The Midlands, refugees in Greece and young people in both the UK and Kenya. She completed a degree in Law at King's College London and Monash University, before studying for an MA in International Development at Warwick University.
